I’m going to go watch the Desolation of Smaug on Tuesday. To celebrate this I think my first doll for the month of January will be BILBO BAGGINS! YAH! What do you guys think? =)
Hey guys! Haven’t updated in a while since the contest for Christmas! It’s December 31st and 2014 is just 9 hours away! For me anyway. But for those of you in other timezones, I hope you guys had a wonderful New Year’s celebration!
So I have a few goals for this upcoming year and I think that’s to make one unique and different doll EACH and EVERY SINGLE month! I would really like to make that happen so for every month I’d like to get YOUR input and get some votes!
If you think you have a cool idea for a character, let me know! I can do some sketches and see where it takes me!
Let’s start with January and see where that goes!
Once again, HAPPY NEW YEAR GUYS!
Thank you all for being so lovely!Your likes, re-blogs and amazing support keeps me going. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
All the best in this new year to come for all of us!
Lots of love,
Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you’re all having a wonderful day with your family, loved ones and friends! I made a crochet doll of the Tenth Doctor from Doctor Who for a friend of mine. =D Comes with his 3D glasses and a teeny tiny Sonic Screwdriver! Kinda tucked away in his pocket there. That’s also her Plice Box Mug Tardis which my sister gave her. She’s got a complete set now!
Merry Christmas! Ho ho ho!
I made some merry Christmas Domo ornaments! Happy holidays! Rawr!
Rorchach crochet/craft doll in color!!!! (Black and White photos uploaded in another post! (Visit Arjeloops.tumblr.com to check them out!)
Hey guys! This custom doll was really fun to make. It’s a Rorschach character from Watchmen.
Details of the doll is as follows: The entire body is crocheted from head to toe. I’ve included thumbs on the hands and used brown for the appearance of “gloves”. The rest of the costume was machined stitched and hand sewed to give him a detailed looking trench coat and striped pants/slacks. You can’t see it from the photos but the pants is complete with belt and buckles(non-removable).
I coiled some felt for the appearance of a scarf neatly wrapped around his neck and I made a hat trying to give the look of a fedora. (However it was difficult to make and looks more Indiana Jones-ish) It can be removable.
His face was carefully constructed to look like ink splotches with black felt and glued permanently onto the head.
If you are interested in ordering this doll, don’t hesitate to contact me! Thanks!
